Roku announced today that they will be adding some big name channels. Beginning today, the WATCH ESPN channel is available and it will stream content from ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3, ESPN Deportes and ESPNEWS.
Later this month viewers will gain access to WATCH Disney Channel, WATCH Disney Junior and WATCH Disney XD.
Roku is playing catch up with the AppleTV which added these channels earlier this year.
While this is great news for Roku owners, it won’t help out cord cutters. All of these channels require subscriptions from approved video providers.
